At Harvest our aim is to glorify God and His mission of making quality disciples of Christ. We believe this is best accomplished in the context of community where believers are able to mutually care for and encourage one another through accountable relationships. Small groups - also known as life groups - are designed to encourage maturity in Christ-likeness through God’s Word, worship, prayer and witness.
If you’ve been attending Harvest regularly, we would invite you to consider taking your personal discipleship to the next level in a small group environment. Once you have applied to join a life group (see link below), you will be referred to one of our competent life group leaders and they will contact you with information on when they meet.
Life groups generally meet in the homes of families in the group. The life group meeting may last 2-3 hours, and involves a group Bible study with heavy emphasis on the application of Scripture to everyday life. But a life group is more than a Bible study. It will also involve men and women meeting separately for prayer and accountability. This is an opportunity to mutually minister to each other and carry each other’s specific burdens in prayer (Gal. 6:1-2). There is also time set aside to enjoy fellowship with others in the group.
